A happy holiday. This is the first time Grayson and I have spent Christmas Eve at my folks' house in many years. Grayson was very excited about it. I gotta say, it felt like home to me, too. Oddly enough :)
Okay, so is it odd to have Christmas without Gray?
Yes, and no. Yes because, as I think I've said before, Grayson and I don't quite have that whole-family feel just the two of us. But I didn't feel an emptiness. And Grayson didn't seem to register a loss.
I'm not sure how I feel about that.
